Fred Joyeux lives and works in Nantes. Animated filmaker, producer and graphic designer, he manages, with his wife Dominique, the production and creation film company L'ATELIER DES IMAGES and the graphic studio LE KWALÉ.

«En tant que cinéaste d'animation j'affectionne les métissages techniques, voyageant du dessin au théâtre d'ombres, en passant par la rotoscopie ou le compositing 2D, etc… Quoiqu'homme d'images, j'essaye d'être attentif à la dramaturgie de mes films qui, souvent, racontent, avec plus ou moins d'humour, des histoires pas vraiment drôles…»

RÉSUMÉ Summary

Tandis qu’Alain vient d’être hospitalisé, il reçoit la visite d’une jeune psychologue en charge des nouveaux arrivants. La conversation s’engage. Aidé par sa femme Marielle, Alain tente de répondre au mieux aux questions de la jeune femme… celle-ci n’est pas au bout de ses surprises ! C’est quoi le nom de la maladie déjà ?

Alain est un film d’animation documentaire reconstituant l’histoire vraie d’Alain de Filippis.

Alain has recently been admitted to the hospital, and the young psychologist in charge of new patients comes to visit him. They start talking. With the help of his wife Marielle, Alain tries his best to answer the young woman’s questions. She has quite a few surprises in store for her! What disease do I have again?
